What are the intestinal health effects of resistant dextrin? [Basic Knowledge]

Is it easy to mix with coffee and yogurt? What is gentle dietary fiber for the stomach?

■What is the mechanism of the intestinal regulation effect of indigestible dextrin? It serves as food for intestinal bacteria, increasing beneficial bacteria and improving the intestinal environment. While some people feel that "laxatives suddenly cause stomach pain" or "intestinal regulators require taking many tablets," indigestible dextrin can support natural bowel movements simply by mixing it into coffee or yogurt. ■Why is it easy to mix into food? It is a water-soluble dietary fiber that dissolves easily in water, has little stickiness or sweetness, and is almost transparent, making it difficult to alter the taste or appearance of food when added. It also has excellent heat and acid resistance, allowing it to be mixed into a wide range of beverages, including hot coffee and orange juice. ■I see, it has high safety but caution is needed for excessive intake! It is considered to have high safety, to the extent that there is no need to clearly define an upper limit for daily intake. However, excessive consumption may lead to diarrhea or abdominal pain, so it is recommended to consume about 10g per day. Please feel free to consult us first.
